Audrey's Newborn Session

Meet Laura and Doug and their newest little family member, a baby girl, Audrey James or AJ for short! When I arrived for AJ's in-home lifestyle newborn session the first thing I noticed was all her hair! I was shocked! I don't think I've had a newborn yet, with such a beautiful full head of hair! I was so happy I brought a bunch of bonnets and cute little headbands to play around with! At two weeks old AJ was a bit more awake and alert for her session in the beginning but after being fed and wrapped up she quickly fell asleep and slept through her session. We even had a little guest join us for a few family pictures, their dog Huey loved being in the room with us and of course we had to get a few pictures with him as well!

I loved getting to know Laura and Doug and what brought them to the Columbus, Georgia area. Laura is a dentist and Doug is active duty Army, which is what brought them to the Fort Benning area. Before coming to Fort Benning, Laura and Doug were stationed in San Diego, CA but said they are loving Georgia and the extra space and a yard for their dog to run around in - "that is feels much more like home."

One of my favorite things about in-home lifestyle and newborn sessions is getting to see the nursery! I loved the neutral tones with gentle touches of light pink that Laura had used to decorate. I'm so excited to share just a few of my favorite images from Audrey's newborn session below!
