FAQ
When should I book my newborn session?
Since I only accept 4 due dates per month, I recommend booking your newborn session as soon as you enter your second trimester. Already past that time? Don't worry, please reach out and I will happily provide my remaining availability.
When is the best time to take newborn photos?
I like to schedule my newborn sessions within the first two weeks of baby being born. If they are premie, then, two weeks within their due date. I accept a limited number of due dates per month so that I can better serve my newborn clients. After reserving your session with your contract and creative session fee, you'll let me know as soon as you have delivered your sweet baby and we will set a date for your newborn session.
How will I know what to wear?
After reserving your spot on my calendar, I will send you a link to my client closet where you can choose your favorite dresses. I will have your dresses ready and laid out for you to try on before your session. You will also receive my session guide to help prep for your session. The session guide includes detailed information for choosing outfits for the family and ways to prepare so that your session is a great one. I am also here to answer any questions you may have along the way!
What's the best time for maternity photos?
I recommend between 28 and 32 weeks. Though, every pregnancy is different! First baby? Fourth baby? Twins? These are all different factors that can affect the perfect timing for your maternity session. We can definitely chat and decide when would be the perfect time for your session!
Can I book with you after my baby is born?
It never hurts to ask! I book newborn sessions based on mama's due date and will often book several months in advance! Sometimes I will have last minute openings but I always suggest securing your newborn session at the beginning of your second trimester.
