As a mama of three myself, I know exactly how big this moment feels. The joy, the overwhelm, the love that makes your heart ache in the best way… and yes, the exhaustion too. Somewhere in the middle of it all, you remember—newborn photos! You start googling, wondering who you can trust to handle something this precious and that’s when you find me.


I’ve got you, mama. From helping you choose what to wear, to making sure your hair and makeup are taken care of, to gently guiding you through natural, cozy posing that doesn’t feel forced. I'm here to make this experience easy, relaxed, and meaningful. All so you can soak in every second and walk away with images that truly feel like you.

Newborn Session FAQs


Everything you need to know before your newborn session

When should I book my newborn session?

The best time to reserve your session is during your second trimester. Your due date serves as your tentative session date, ensuring availability when your little one arrives.

What happens after my baby is born?

Simply send me a message once your baby arrives, and we'll schedule your session. Newborn portraits are typically photographed within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still wonderfully sleepy and curled up.

How long does a newborn session last?

Sessions generally last 2–3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and diaper changes. Every session is baby-led, creating a relaxed and stress-free experience for the whole family.

Can I have my hair and makeup professionally done for my session?

Absolutely. One of my favorite ways to help new mothers feel confident and cared for is by coordinating professional hair and makeup for their session. I partner with several wonderful artists and will handle the scheduling for you, so everything is ready upon your arrival at the studio. Hair and makeup services are booked separately and paid directly to your chosen artist.

What should we wear?

Soft neutrals and light tones photograph beautifully and help create the timeless, airy look you see throughout my portfolio. During the planning process, I'll help coordinate outfits for the entire family and provide access to my client closet for mothers and young children.


Can siblings and family members participate?

Absolutely. Newborn sessions are designed to celebrate your growing family. Every session includes both family portraits and individual newborn portraits, so you'll have beautiful images of your family's newest chapter alongside all those tiny details that change far too quickly.

When will we see our images?

Your ordering and design appointment is typically scheduled within three weeks of your session, where you'll view your beautiful gallery and select your favorite images and artwork.

Newborn sessions are baby-led and relaxed, allowing space for feeding, soothing, and simply being together. Rather than stiff posing, I focus on connection and those tiny details, gentle touches, and the love that fills your home in those first days.
